In 2008 Brent & Peggy Dunnigan purchased ideal Gravel-based land along the Moose Creek. The land had previous gravel deposits; however, it had to be cleaned up to meet the Saskatchewan Environmental regulations. The task of cleaning has been completed and it now has a full line of Aggregate products.
Dunnigan Holdings Ltd. has extensive experience in lease building and reclamation. Being a family that has farmed the land in the Alameda/Oxbow area for over 100 years and counting, we have an appreciation for the importance of the soils being returned so the land can be returned to crop production.
DHL is very capable of follow up maintenance or modifications. The employees and equipment have both worked with oilfield sites, environmental cleanup, commercial, residential and agricultural sites and real estate development.
Aggregate
We offer a variety of aggregate materials for all types of construction and landscaping projects, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, and topsoil. Gravel
Our gravel ranges in size from 1/8 inch to 2 1/2 inches. It is commonly used in construction, landscaping, and drainage applications due to its excellent drainage properties and strength. Gravel is ideal for creating foundations, driveways, walkways, and roads, as well as for use in concrete production and as a base material for other projects.
Sand
Sand is a naturally occurring granular material composed of fine particles of rock and minerals, typically ranging in size from 0.0625 mm to 2 mm in diameter. It is one of the most commonly used materials in construction and landscaping due to its versatility, availability, and numerous practical applications. Our sand is also great for sandboxes!
Fine Tailings
Fine gravel tailings are the small, often leftover particles generated during the extraction, crushing, or processing of gravel. These tailings typically consist of a mix of fine gravel, sand and silt. Tailings are courser than sand but finer than gravel. Tailings can compact well, making them suitable as a base material commonly used in construction and landscaping projects.
Top Soil
Topsoil is the uppermost layer of soil, typically the top 2–10 inches (5–25 cm). It is rich in organic matter, nutrients, and microorganisms, making it crucial for plant growth and agricultural productivity. This layer is darker than the subsoil beneath it due to the high concentration of decomposed organic material, known as humus. We also have composted sheep manure for your gardens!

Lease Building
Dunnigan Holdings Ltd has extensive experience in oilfield lease building and reclamation. Road Building
We have experience in building roads, whether it is a new road or repairs on existing roads. We have a full line of aggregate supplies as well as the equipment and experienced operators. If you need frost boils repaired or need an access road built or anything in between, give us a call to discuss!
Land Clearing
DHL can assist in any building demolition needed. From farm, residential to commercial, we have the equipment to help demolish any structures and to haul away any and all debris, leaving our customers with a fresh, clean slate.
Snow Removal
We provide services to the Department of Highways as back up during heavy snowfalls in the Alameda/Oxbow area.
Gravel Sales & Delivery
We provide an extensive list of aggregate product including topsoil, sheep manure, sand, gravel, tailings and various rock sizes. We also provide products for landscaping and garden sites.
Lease Mowing
We can complete lease mowing and bobcat services for cleaning up sites. We can also complete snow removal with bobcat and associated equipment as well.
